High-quality multi-layer parquet is composed of 2mm high wear-resistant melamine paper + high-quality plywood structure. Plywood is usually a cross construction, each layer is about 2mm thick, 7 layers in total, with the back layer in the same grain direction as the hardwood veneer/lamellas.
